Cheryl Grace Neumann has been redesigning and staging homes as a pastime for well over thirty years. That is because she has been in love with decorating ever since she was a young girl. She can remember coming home from grammar school and hearing her mother say “Come help me move this furniture. Cheryl, come help me hang this picture”. Cheryl continued to help her mother rearrange furniture and decorate until she left home after high school. So I guess you can say the love of decorating runs in the family.
After years of working in corporate America, Cheryl’s dream of working in interior design became a reality by opening Grace Décor Consultants. Cheryl’s professional background has only enhanced her expertise in the home decorating field.
Early in her professional career Cheryl learned valuable interpersonal and planning skills as well as outstanding customer service working as a Travel Agent. Wanting to excel in the travel field, Cheryl studied and achieved the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation from the respected Institute of Certified Travel Counselors. Her travel ventures helped Cheryl gain valuable insight to various design styles by traveling the globe from North America, South America, Carribean, Europe and Asia Pacific.
With over twenty years working for a top Fortune 500 travel/technology company, Cheryl gained invaluable experience as both a project and general manager. As a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP®), Cheryl’s education and experience will ensure that all the details involved in either Staging or Redesigning your home will be completed on time and within the agreed budget. And Cheryl’s proven leadership and integrity will help when the unforeseen challenges may surface.
Cheryl’s latest achievement was receiving double certification as a Certified Staging Specialist (CSS) and Certified Redesign Specialist (CRS) from Barbara Jennings, the nation’s #1 trainer in the fields of home staging and interior redesign.
Cheryl is married to her best friend and mentor, Richard and has one teenage son, Drew. The men in her life not only support her passion in Staging and Redesign but are willing to lift the heavy furniture too!
