Owner, Shirry Dolgin: This native Angelino grew up having art, design, and architecture influences all around her. With an engineer as a father, she was continuously exposed to design, remodeling, and building. After graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Interior Design at the highly prestigious "Fashion Institute for Design & Merchandising" she gained her experience working with some of the best set decorators and interior design companies in Los Angeles. In 2004 Ms. Dolgin made the decision to open an interior design company where she could utilize her creativity and business knowledge simultaneously.
Shirry has built a reputation of being highly professional, creative, and easy to work with. "The design work I do is intended to improve the quality of life for my clients and my goal is that the process will be enjoyable for everyone." Having worked with high end and celebrity clients, as well as those on very tight budgets, it is her belief that everyone should enjoy great design! She continues to spread her talent for interior design with a high level of professionalism, strong ethical values, and a creative approach for every project.
Phase 1: It all starts with the first meeting! The consultation is where we gather all of the information on the overall project and what you are looking to achieve. Once we have a clear picture of your needs, a design plan can be developed. Having a design plan is critical in executing the project smoothly, no matter what size. This is what people miss when they are not working with a professional designer. In this phase we select color, materials, and lighting, design a space plan, and a budget starts to take shape. Once a design plan is completed, all bids from contractors are organized for final pricing. It is our belief that clients should have a full budget in place before making any decisions.
Phase 2: Once the design plan and budget have been approved by the client, it is now time to place all orders and coordinate all sub contractors and vendors. This takes much more time than it may sound. It involved countless meeting with contractors and vendors to ensure accuracy on all the fine details of the project. During this phase, there are regular visits to the job site to manage progress and answer any questions which may come up. This phase also involves tracking and coordinating the shipment and deliveries of all products that have been ordered.
Phase 3: Installation can finally begin! This is where the real transformation takes shape…and we are involved every step of the way. During this last phase, each area is completely “dressed” with all of the elements including furniture, lighting, accessories, plants, and art to give it you a completely designed space that is unique for your taste and designed just for you.
