Eco Echo Home, Inc.

John Carlile, the founder of Eco Echo Home, Inc. began his career in design at a very early age. "I was in grade school when my parents purchased a house on a lake, and I designed my bedroom addition. We enclosed a portion of the screened porch. I was maybe 11 years old, drawing out plans and picking colors. It was an amazing experience, and I've been hooked ever since."

With his mother's influence and her eye for "all things beautiful" coupled with his father's passion for the outdoors and nature, it was a natural fit for him to design and create being heavily influenced by nature and its abundance.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Environmental Studies, John focused on sustainable and responsible design. "We have a responsibility to provide for future generations, and we have to do that now, not later. The right thing to do is always just that: the right thing to do." Seeing a need for sustainable alternatives to status quo design and building practices, John created Eco Echo Home to provide options to like minded people. "We should do the right thing, do it right now, and do it right the first time!"
