Properly Designed was founded by Cinda Steen in 2002 and provides interior design and home staging services in Monterey County and surrounding areas

Cinda has over 15 years experience in working with home interiors and leasing space. She attended the Interior Design program at the University of Minnesota and is a member of I.R.I.S. (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) and an Associate Member of The IDS (Interior Design Society). Cinda is also an Affiliate Member of the Monterey County Association of Realtors.

Cinda has staged many new homes in the Bay Area, where she worked for a large real estate developer, Promethus Development in San Mateo. She also worked as a National Account Manager for a large corporate housing firm - Oakwood Worldwide, working with corporations to house their employees and consultants temporarily.

Cinda has a natural talent for creating beautiful living spaces and has many satisfied customers! She has a great eye for detail and exceptional customer service skills.

Home staging

Home staging is the process of using furniture, artwork and accessories to make your home look its absolute best. We can bring in furniture and accessories if your home is vacant or use the furnishings already in the home to prepare your property for sale. Statistics show that staged homes sell more quickly and for more money than other homes on the market that are not staged.
