Denise Lough is a professional Interior Stylist working in the surrounding suburbs of Chicago.

Denise has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University and has been a Graphic Designer in the Advertising Field for over 20 years. She has completed various college Interior Design courses including Computer Aided Drafting and has successfully completed the training for InteriorStylist.org certification.

She is proficient in the computer program, Photoshop, which enables her to give her clients a computer preview of their rooms to assist them in visualizing ideas for paint colors, window treatments, furnishings & art, before the work is done.
This is a service very few designers have knowledge of.

Denise's passion for interior decorating and design has driven her to start her business, The Room Designer, thus utilizing her innate artistic talents and eye for design, proportion, color and scale in the field of decorating, home staging and redesign. She is a fantastic bargain hunter and loves to hunt antique stores & flea markets for unique furnishings and accessories... She embraces those "unique" pieces that truly make a house a home.

Denise is the quite the opposite of the "Fancy-Decorator-Type". She is very relaxed and casual in her decorating style and manner and is extremely organized, practical and has an honest approach to her business. She is thrilled to see the amazing things that can be accomplished in just a few hours time while using what the clients already own! The big payoff for her, is the wonderful reactions on her clients' faces when they see their rooms transformed!
